Addressing challenges in local operations

We proactively approached a Namibian drilling entity operating in Angola to understand any challenges they may be facing and how we could potentially assist.

We discovered that the entity was keen to expand their business in Angola. However, they were struggling with a number of key issues including language and culture, staffing, and legal, regulatory and fiscal issues.

We were able to resolve their tax discrepancies and legal framework challenges with our on the ground Angolan partners, enabling them to launch an entity which was compliant with local law.

We were able to accompany the organisation as they visited prospects in the lithium and gold mining areas to assist with stakeholder engagement. We were also able to provide market intelligence for future drilling works.

Today, we are assisting with the setup of a consortium to facilitate exploration work.
